Emily “Jane” Heilig Meehan
Emily “Jane” Heilig Meehan nee Parker passed from this life to the next on June 30, 2013 in Daytona Beach, FL at the age of 65 years. She was born in Anderson, SC on January 28, 1948 to the late Charles Allison Parker and Jerrell Eugenia Parker nee Jennings.
She married Bill Heilig on August 19, 1966, and they raised 4 children; Lisa, Chad, Greg, and Jana.
Nothing brought Jane more joy than to see her friends and family members delight in each other’s company; although we will miss her dearly, we know that she was content with her life.
She was preceded by Bill in 1993 and her sister Tricia in 2001.
Jane is survived by her husband Mike Meehan, her 4 children; Lisa, Chad, Greg, and Jana and their partners Tammy, Guy, Belinda, and Shun; her sisters; Charlene and Margaret, and her grandchildren Taylor, Grace, Emma, Owen, Jaden, and Natalie (due in October).
The family will hold a private gathering to remember Jane's life.
