Evelyn M DiPietro's Obituary
Evelyn M DiPietro, 77, resident of Flagler Beach, Florida, devoted wife to the late Larry DiPietro and mother of Gabrielle “Gabby” DiPietro and grandmother to Luna Kitch, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Blue Palms nursing home under Hospice care. Born in Youngstown, Ohio on December 12, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Russ and the late Josephine and Sam Infante. She and her husband moved from Youngstown, Ohio to Miami, Florida, then eventually settled in South Carolina, where they spent most of their life together. Evelyn was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Greenwood, South Carolina, and served as the Church Secretary for approximately 20 years, was a Eucharistic Minister, member of the Church choir and actively participated in many other Church activities.
She is survived by her daughter and granddaughter, several nieces and nephews and special friends that were dear to her heart, especially Sandy Schick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 13, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Greenwood, South Carolina, officiated by Fr. Francisco.
The family request donations be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in her memory, 915 Mathis Road, Greenwood, SC 29649.
