Frances McLamb
Frances McLamb was born on June 14th, 1930 in Norwich, CN. She passed away on February 7, 2014 at the age of 83 years in Palm Coast, FL.
She fell in love with Sherrill McLamb and married him in San Diego on August 7th 1948. The couple later moved to Chicago where they lived until the late 1970's, at which time they moved to Palm Coast FL. Frances was active in the community and generous with her time. She was once the president of Palm Cost Woman's Club, and was a member of a number of local organizations including the Florida Federation of Women's Club, the Palm Coast Garden Club, the City of Palm Coast Historical Society, and the VFW Auxiliary. For many years, she gave her time as a volunteer at Ormond Memorial Hospital. Frances was a spectacular cook, a skilled floral arranger, and love to cruise.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Sherrill McLamb.
She is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl (Jack) Robinson of Palm Coast, FL, Cynthia (Jerry) Thichava of Mesquite, TX, and Susan (Perry) Zorn of Palm Coast, FL; two granddaughters, Katherine Thichava of Seattle, WA and Judith Thichava of Mesquite, TX. A sister Edith Choti of Preston, CN. She is also survived by her beloved friend and companion, Derris Ledin.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 14 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 156 Florida Park Drive, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
