Francesco A Segalla's Obituary
Francesco A. Segalla, 89, passed away surrounded by family in his residence in Bunnell, Florida on January 23, 2023.
Francesco was born in Calvene, Italy in 1933. He emigrated to Canada and then the United States in 1954. He married Christina Schudella in 1958, settled in Thomaston Connecticut, and had three children. He became a U.S. citizen in 1962. In 1988 he retired from The Heminway & Bartlett Manufacturing Company and in 1989 moved to Bunnell, Florida. Francesco enjoyed making wine, gardening, and raising animals on his property in Florida.
Francesco is survived by his wife Christina of 65 years and his sister Fernanda Segalla of Zugliano, Italy. His children include Nicolo Segalla of Houston, TX., Rita Bertrand of Bunnell, FL., and Christina Segalla of Ormond Beach, FL. His grandchildren include Michael Kelley of St. Augustine, FL., Jennifer Kelley of Oakville, CT., Daniel Peterson of Palm Coast, FL., Brian Peterson of Ormond Beach, FL., Jason Segalla of Corpus Christi, TX., Jessica Segalla of Houston, TX., Andrew Bertrand of Jacksonville, FL., Mark Bertrand and Noah Bertrand of Bunnell, FL. His five great-grandchildren are Brionna, Bronson, Madison, Luke, and Siena.
