Pennies and nickels add up to dollars.
Grampie Fran was such a wise man and loved our family. You will be dearly missed!
Mr. Comstock helped me on several occasions, first by giving me a job while I was in high school and then again following my service in the U.S. Army at both WA Case &Co. and Great Lakes Plumbing, as well as the rental properties he owned in Brockport.
I recall helping to haul stones to the home he built near Brockport where his son Scott was born and to whom I express my personal condolences.
Mr. Comstock was a good man who helped guide others in life.
John Lessord, Brockport, NY
Accept my deepest heartfelt condolences with the passing of Fran. He was a man with much compassion, strength and intelligence. Fran and his deceased wife Gladys were special friends and great neighbors. Each of them spent a life well-lived and will always be remembered.
So sorry for your loss. No doubt that Vic and I were close to Gladys and Fran; I have appreciated the friendship over the years. Even when Gladys had passed and Fran stayed in Florida we have kept in touch. The periodic phone calls and the swapping of Florida fruit for Maine maple syrup, always brought a smile to my face. I will miss the calls checking all winter long to see how much snow we have; I will miss Fran.
Love Erma
and Wendy
Sorry to hear that Fran is no longer with us.He was a very good and honest man.He will be missed...
Just a short note To express my gratitude for the kind heart Fran extended to our mom Gladys M. Comstock, giving her opportunities she'd never have experienced without him.
I remember him helping me when I was out of work and trying to stay afloat, his helping me prioritize everything in my life to properly get through such a difficult time in my life.
Fran was a very kind step-dad/man, and husband, his helping me become more self sufficient ,whether in good times or bad ,prioritize and control what I could, be honest and communicate with others, through it all, reminding me, I could (CAN) do it. just think it through. communicate, tackle it head on. saying (if you don't communicate, no one cant help you through it).
To sum up his life He was always positive and upbeat even after losing both his eye sight and most of his hearing. I NEVER heard less than upbeat and kind words spoken through it all. what a strong willed man he always was.
LOvE you FRAN.I am with you in spirit daily. both blessed and grateful for your being a part of my life.
