I'm truly sorry to read about the death of Freddy in The Hartford Courant. I have many fond memories of the entire Cohen/Leahy family growing up on Surrey Dr. Everytime Freddy would see me, he would stop and start singing "Delta Dawn" to me! :) I'm also sadden to read of Shawn's passing. Wishing the entire Cohen/Leahy family comfort and peace at this time of sorrow.

Although I have not seen Freddy in close to 50 years, I remember him as someone you could always rely on for a favor. Additionly, Freddy always had a good flair for business and he is to be commended for the business success achieved. May he rest in pease.

I didn't really know Fred, ( I only met him once), but he was the step father to 2 of my 3 brothers and grandfather to my 3 nieces, and great grandfather to my great niece... my family and I would like to send our deepest condolences and our thoughts and prayers to all of his family. I remember Freddy as a guy who always had a smile and fun conversation.
I always laughed when we spoke. He was the kind of guy although I hadn't seen him in many years , would pop into your mind once in awhile. I'll always have memories of our fun conversations. RIP
