Fritz Lecoin's Obituary
With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Fritz Lecoin, 79. He was born on December 27, 1944 in Port-de-Paix, Haiti, to the late Michel Lecoin and Melina Lecoin (nee Gay).
If you ever met Fritz Lecoin, then you were greeted with that warm, genuine smile he possessed, despite his health issues He was a hard working man who overcame many obstacles to escape the conditions of his native country of Haiti. After emigrating to the United States in 1970, Fritz settled in Chicago, where he met and married Nicole Preston. Together they raised three boys to men before relocating to Palm Coast three years ago.
Fritz loved his family, cruises, travel, and fishing. He was happiest outdoors near the water, whether the ocean or a swimming pool. Fritz lived in joy and spread it to everyone around him with just a smile.
Fritz was preceded in death by his son Fritz Lecoin, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Nicole, his sons Francis Regis (Palm Coast) and Newton Regis (Chicago), his brother Yvens Lecoin (Ft. Lauderdale) and five grandchildren.
