Gabriel David Apkarian's Obituary
Gabriel David Apkarian, 22, of Cocoa, Florida, was born on June 15, 2004, and passed away on July 22, 2026.
Gabe worked as a roustabout for CrownQuest Oil Company in Midland, Texas. He also worked at Midland Battery in Midland, Texas, and most recently as a diesel mechanic at Ford of Cocoa, Florida.
Gabe’s hobbies included working on cars, fishing, and collecting shoes. He loved all dogs, playing video games, Barq’s Root Beer, and gas station gummies. He enjoyed bow shooting, was an avid weightlifter, and had recently taken up boxing.
He is survived by his mother, Nicole Apkarian; his three sisters, Kaylie Lehrman and her husband, Blaze, Morgan Clark and her husband, Justin, and Cassandra Broyles; his father, David Apkarian; and his Aunt Tay. He is also survived by his seven nieces and nephews: Malachi, Weston, Henry, Maverick, Zion, Rose, and Selah.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Louise Apkarian.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, August 3, at 1:00 p.m. at Parkview Church, 5435 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
Gabe’s laugh was contagious, his heart was tender, and he was a defender and a friend to all. Above all, he loved the Lord.
His life verse was Isaiah 41:10:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
In lieu of flowers, Gabe’s mom has requested that donations be made in Gabe’s honor to a mental health organization of your choice.
