Dear Betty and family,
I was saddened to learn of Gaylen's death and at the same time knowing what a strong Christian man he was I know he would be excited to be with this precious Lord and Savior. I grew up with Gaylen at First Baptist Church in Blooming Prairie and attended school with him from the first grade through high school. The Harms family were such a major part of our church and we always enjoyed their music. I remember Gaylen singing in a small mens group in high school which was outstanding. I also remember there was no way you could be around Gaylen and not be laughing. He had a great sense of humor and brought a smile to every face all the time. I was also a career banker so would compare notes when I saw him a few times when we were both in BP for a high school reunion.
Praying for comfort in your loss and for God's great peace in knowing Gaylen is singing, socializing, telling stories, and enjoying being with this Lord in heaven. We will be watching, his memorial service, from California next weekend. Kathy (Ditlevson) Hills
