Geneva "Genie" Manchester's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother Geneva “Genie” Rogers Manchester, 66, who went to be with the lord on June 27th , 2026. She passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family & Gentiva Hospice Services in Palm Coast, Florida.
Genie was born on January 16th , 1960, in Newburgh NY to Frank & Geneva Gozza. She was the second youngest of 4 children, raised in a family where cleanliness was next to godliness & store-bought pasta sauce was blasphemy. Known for her Italian cooking, she said the key was a good homemade sauce. It was a labor of love.
Whether it was painting, wallpapering, refinishing floors or landscaping, Genie was always taking on a project. She took pride in the way things looked & always made a house into a home. She was a woman of kindness, love, understanding & grace. A mother to all, her priority was her family, always putting the needs of others before her own. Leaving behind a legacy of warmth, strength & unconditional love, Genie will be forever missed but never forgotten.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Manchester, brother Steven (Monica) Gozza, son Michael (Jennifer) Rogers, served a mothering role to Michelle Rogers, Shawna Fajardo, Rick (June) Rogers, Rob (Stephanie) Rogers, Paige (Carmine) Consalvo, 14 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, sister Carol (Danny) Benway & brother Frank Gozza.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
