George W. Goldacker III's Obituary
George W. Goldacker, III, 79, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2021, in Palm Coast, FL.
Born in Philadelphia, PA and predeceased by his parents George and Edith Goldacker, George was a US Navy veteran. He and his wife, Ruth, raised their family in Manahawkin, NJ, where he was a self-employed building contractor. They retired to Palm Coast, FL in 2007.
George had many points of pride in his life. He was a very talented businessman and tradesman, he had beautifully designed and built homes over the years. He loved discussing gardening with his neighbors and friends, and always offered to lend a hand. He was also very passionate about wildlife conservation; visiting zoos, aquariums, and sanctuaries.
George always considered his greatest accomplishment to be his family. He loved being around them, and was very proud of their hard work and determination to achieve their goals.
George is survived by his wife, Ruth Goldacker, of 54 years, his sister Barbara Flynn and her husband Scott. His children, Jeffrey Goldacker and his wife Beverly; his daughter Jennifer Voss and her husband Roy Voss Jr. He is also survived by his four grandchildren; Ashley and Nicholas Goldacker, and Amy and Roy Voss III; as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family gathering to celebrate his life.
