Gloria Julie Jones' Obituary
Gloria Julie Jones, age 87, born in Berwyn, IL, passed away peacefully in Hospice Care on Sept. 10th, 2024. She was loved by her 3 children, James, Thomas & Julie and worked hard to provide everything she could for us, we will always appreciate her and she will be greatly missed.
Gloria loved to travel, she moved from Chicago area to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she enjoyed hiking with a women's hiking group, she loved theater & would go with her friends quite often. After her retirement from J C Penney, she moved to St. Augustine, FL area, she chose Coquina Crossing for her home, she loved the town of St. Augustine. She also enjoyed going on Cruises & going to Walt Disney World accompanied by her children, those were fun trips!
Her written note to us stated she wished to be cremated with no ceremony and that her ashes be spread on a beautiful hiking trail among large beautiful trees.
