Gordon W Steele's Obituary
Gordon Wentworth Steele, age 84, of Palm Coast, passed away April 19, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Steele, Sr., Hazel Steele, and his sister, Marjorie Steele.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Steele and one sister, Linda Lein of New Hampshire and many nieces, nephews and friends. Gordon ran more than 20 Marathons including NY, Long Island, Marine Corps and many others. Aside from being a runner, he was also a golfer, sailor and tennis player.
He was a graduate of Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY and he retired from Nassau County Parks and Recreation.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to AdventHealth Hospice, Palm Coast. Or to a charity of your choice.
