Heinz Wilhelm Licht
Heinz Wilhelm Licht was born on July 22, 1930 in Karlsruhe, Germany to the late Wilhelm and Freda Licht nee Schorp. He passed away on October 28, 2012 in Port Orange, FL at the age of 82 years.
Heinz moved to Florida in 2011 from North Carolina. He lived and raised his family in Bay Shore, New York for 36 years and retired to South Florida (Boca Raton and Boynton Beach) for several years before moving toWake Forest, North Carolina. He had a passion for carpentry, gardening and reading.
In addition to his parents, Heinz is preceded in death by his siblings, Mina, Lydia, Rheinhold, and Helmut.
He is survived by his loving wife Gerda of 54 years, his daughters, Karen Licht and Monica DePietro and her husband Henry, sisters, Klothilde of Gemany and Irmgard of Holland, his grandchildren, Nicholas and Michelle, and many nieces and nephews.
All arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Cremation and Memorial Chapel, Port Orange,FL.
