Howard Maxwell's Obituary
Howard Maxwell, 71, passed away on March 4, 2023 in Palm Coast, Florida. He was born in Huntsville, Alabama on December 15, 1951 to Kattie Mae Sandifer and James Hubert Maxwell. He was raised for most of his life in Cleveland, Ohio. While attending Cleveland High School he was named MVP (Most Valuable Player) in basketball, even appearing in the local newspaper. He served honorably in the Vietnam War with the Navy from 1969-1972. Howard’s hobbies were bicycling, swimming, going to the beach, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his brother James Maxwell (wife Kathy Maxwell) and sister Brender Faye Maxwell.
Howard is survived by his daughter Kaniece and son Marcus (wife Maleka) and 5 grandchildren; Brianna, Kaylee, Logan, Ethan, and Cameron. Ex-wife Elaine Maxwell-Arthur. Nieces; Farisa, Laura, and Katie. Nephews; Madalitso, Bryan and Michael. 10 Great Nieces and Nephews. Brother-in-law Fredrick Arnold.
