Ines Sousa Braga's Obituary

Ines Sousa Braga in her 80th year passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 surrounded by her loving family after a very short period of declining health.
Ines was born in Santo Espirito in the island of Santa Maria, Açores Portugal on October 20, 1939, a daughter of the late Manuel Braga and Emilia Agostinha Sousa Braga of Santa Maria, Açores, Portugal.
Her spirit will be carried on by her daughter Maria Fatima Arraial, her two granddaughters Regina Araujo and Linda Botelho and her daughter's son in law Nilton Botelho all of Palm Coast, FL.
She was a loving and very caring Great Grandmother to Briana Araujo, Fernando and Brandon Botelho. They were her ray of sunshine from the moment each one of them was born.
Ines was a beloved sister of Maria Helena Monteiro of Hudson, MA, Jose Braga of Hudson, MA, Eugenia Azevedo of Lunenburg, MA and a beloved sister in law of Emilia Braga of Hudson, MA whom she loved like a sister. She predeceased her sister Maria Freitas of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, her brother João Braga of Hudson, MA and her son in law Fernando Arraial of Palm Coast, FL.
She was an amazing aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews and a kind and welcoming friend to many. She enjoyed to make people laugh.
She immigrated to Hudson, MA with her daughter in 1975. She worked as a machine operator for many years at several different factories including Thomas Taylor & Sons, New England Tape and Hudson Lock. Shortly after her retirement she moved with her daughter to Palm Coast, FL.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at 1pm at Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church, 915 N. Central Avenue, Flagler Beach, Florida.
