IRVING "JACK" ABERMAN
Irving "Jack" Aberman, age 90, of Daytona Beach, beloved husband of 51 years to the late Gloria Aberman, and devoted father to his sons Steven (deceased), Brian, and Jack, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014. Born in Bronx, NY, Mr. Aberman enlisted in the Army in 1943 and fought as a cannoneer in World War II and was decorated with an EAME Theater Ribbon with 5 Bronze Stars. Upon his return from the war, he lived in Brooklyn, NY working as a stock broker. He married Gloria in 1951 & started his family.
After many wonderful summer vacations in Daytona beach, Mr. Aberman decided to leave the cold winters behind and relocate there permanently in 1978. He was a successful businessman who also was actively involved with multiple local organizations in the Daytona Beach area. In his retirement, he made the best of each day by traveling & having fun with friends and then in 2008 moved in with his youngest son Jack and his daughter in law to live out his twilight years in comfort and being surrounded by his loving family
He is remembered by all for his passion for traveling, dancing, fishing, bowling and enjoying the beach and pool. Mr. Aberman was an avid football, baseball & tennis fan. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a smile that lit up the room.
He will truly be missed...
