Jacklyn Irene Marek's Obituary
Jacklyn Irene Marek, 73, passed away in Palm Coast, FL on Saturday, September 28. Jackie was born on April 16, 1951 in Northampton, MA to Frank and Rita (nee Berube) Baceski. Jackie was able to celebrate over 50 years of marriage to her dedicated and loving husband, Michael Marek. They made their home in western Massachusetts for 30 years before settling in Palm Coast, FL. Per her wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.
Jackie was loved by many, and treasured the friendships and family she always carried with her. She loved the music of Elvis, Las Vegas, the company of her dogs and shopping excursions with friends and family. She started her career with AT&T for many years before transitioning on to several accounting positions including Channing Bete, Militech and a few others. She also spent years assisting her husband with his business, Mike’s Auto Body in Southampton and Easthampton, MA respectively.
Jackie was predeceased by her parents and her sister Joanne Sielski.
She is survived by her sisters, Jill and Howard Wallis of Springfield, Jean and Bill Belden of Hatfield and Cathy and Mike Kennedy of Ludlow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
