James Allen Brown's Obituary
James Allen Brown (Al), passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on November 22, 2022 at the AdventHealth Hospital in Palm Coast, Florida after a short illness. Al is survived by his former wife, Cathy and their son Burt, his wife Mayra; his grandchildren, Caeley, Andrea, Valeria and his great-grandchildren, Mayah, Caleb, and Liam. Al was born on September 5, 1934, in Washington, DC to James and Virginia Brown.
Al served in the Army. He worked in transportation, mechanics, managed theaters, and eventually owned 6 gas stations. He was able to retire in his 40’s and eventually moved to Palm Coast, Florida in 1991.
Al attended independent Baptist Church of Clinton, Maryland for 10 years.
Al enjoyed going to the bowling alley every day and hosting happy hour at his house with his neighbors and friends.
Al will be extremely missed by all that knew him. Please keep his family in prayer during this time of sorrow.
