James A Ragazzo's Obituary
James A. “Raggs” Ragazzo, 85, of Palm Coast, FL passed away while being cared for at the Flagler Rehabilitation Center on January 10, 2024. He was born on June 16, 1938 in Trenton, NJ to Vincent and May (nee Barkholz) Ragazzo.
James retired from the Trenton Police Force after working as an officer for over 20 years, then moved to Palm Coast after living in Trenton/Hamilton, NJ for 65 years. He had a great sense of humor and liked to make people laugh. He was proud to have a pilots license and enjoyed his time in the sky flying a Piper Cub regionally. He also loved playing darts, participated in 8-ball pool leagues, watching movies- especially the 'Golden Oldies', enjoyed 50s music, was a proud member of the Loyal Order of the Moose - Lodge 2577, and being part of a motorcycle club for a number of years.
James is predeceased by his parents, May Barkholz and Vincent Ragazzo and sister, Judith Santitoro all of the Trenton, NJ area. James is survived by his three children: son James (Karin) Ragazzo and daughters Virginia Hickerson and Doreen (James) Romanchuk. He is also survived by his brother in law, Alphonso Santitoro; nephew Kenneth (Angela) Santitoro; as well as 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great nephew.
