Jan Elizabeth Dietrich's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Jan Elizabeth Dietrich
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Jan Elizabeth Dietrich, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 84.
Jan was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, and attended St. Petersburg High School. She dedicated 30 years of service to GE as an Administrative Assistant. During that time, she married Walter and became the proud mother of identical twin boys, whom she adored.
Jan found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved playing softball and bowling, cherished her cats, and spent countless hours tending to her garden, always finding room for one more flower. She touched the lives of so many with her kindness, compassion, and generous spirit. Above all, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family, whom she loved with all her heart.
Jan is lovingly remembered by her identical twin sons, Don (Sabine) and Shawn (DeeDee); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, her brothers, her nieces and nephews; and the many friends whose lives she enriched with her warmth, love, and unwavering care.
She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her beautiful smile, and the countless ways she made everyone around her feel loved and welcome.
Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in the precious memories she leaves behind. Her love will remain with us always, and her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Per Jan’s wishes, the family will hold a private gathering at a later date. Jan will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service assisted the family with arrangements.
