It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, though her life was cut short she is no longer suffering and she will forever and always be in our hearts. She is survived by her beloved son Joseph Noel, father Narciso, Ashlie, devoted 2nd mom to Joseph, her sisters’ Marisa, Liza, Omayra and brother Narciso along with several nieces and nephews.
Janice Acosta, born on the Northside of Chicago was a vibrant, spiritual, energetic soul full of life and love for her friends and family. She was considered the life of the party, everywhere she went, her huge personality and willingness to be of service couldn’t be matched. Janice was an accomplished Massage Therapist having worked in New Orleans and Denver providing immaculate care for her many clients. She was always very in tune with mind and body so being in the Holistic field was definitely her niche.
Her love for travel always kept her on the go, she loved exploring new places and never turned down any adventures. But even more important than her profession, was the love she had for her son Joseph. She was extremely proud of the man he became, he was her world and greatest inspiration.
