Jeanette Leone Hunter's Obituary
On December 12, 2025, Jeanette "Jan" L. Hunter, 95, of Bunnell, FL passed peacefully in her sleep at home after a year long battle with cancer. She was born on November 24, 1930 in Hudson, NY to Giles and Alice (nee Cripe) Bliss.
She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, James. She was also predeceased by three brothers, Floyd, Donald, Kenneth, and her beloved sister Mary.
She is survived by 4 children, Bonnie, Keith, Kim and Scott. Six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins as well as countless dearly loved friends.
A celebration of life will be held in upstate New York in the Spring of 2026, where she and James will be laid to rest together eternally. Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service of Bunnell, FL assisted the family with arrangements. https://www.HeritageFlagler.com
