Jeffrey Coats Mark's Obituary
Jeffrey Coats Mark, 68, was called home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2026. He was born on December 2, 1957 in Syracuse, New York, to Albert John Mark and Dorothy Coats Mark.
Jeff attended Corcoran High School in Syracuse and went on to graduate from Utica College. He began his career as a Respiratory Therapist at Oneida Hospital, where his dedication and work ethic led to his promotion to Assistant Administrator. After relocating to Palm Coast, Florida, he continued his career in service to others as a Health Insurance Agent. Throughout every chapter of his professional life, Jeff was known as a committed and hardworking individual.
Jeff held a deep and abiding passion for the Gideon New Testament Distribution ministry. It was through this organization, while still in New York, that he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. After moving to Florida, he served as Gideon President for several years, with chapters in both Palm Bay and Palm Coast. He was also an active member of the Sebastian Exchange Club (Blue Water Open Charity). A man of genuine faith, Jeff was a member of First Baptist Church of Palm Coast, where he served faithfully as a deacon.
In 2014, Jeff married the love of his life, Ramonita “Monin” Mark, and together they built a life full of warmth and shared joy. He treasured time spent at the beach, rounds of golf, and the adventures that came with travel.
Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife of 12 years, Ramonita Monin Mark; his three siblings, Gary Mark (Becky), Brian Mark (Rona), and Carrie Benn; his five nephews, Andrew, Arhon, Daniel, Ryan and Trevor; and his niece, Bianca. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sheldon and Florence Coats, and his parents, Albert John
Mark and Dorothy Coats Mark.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Palm Coast located at 6050 Palm Coast Parkway NW * Palm Coast, Florida 32164
Repast: Immediately after the memorial service
