Jerome Phillip Jones' Obituary
In loving memory of Jerome (Jerry) Philip Jones, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Born in
Macon, Georgia to Edward and Margaret Jones, Jerry's adventurous spirit led him to live all across the
country, but he always found his way back to Florida.
Throughout his life, Jerry made a significant impact on his community and those he worked with, earning
the love and respect of everyone around him. As a great leader, coach, and mentor, he touched the lives
of many.
Jerry cherished time with his family, especially at the beach, fishing, and on trips to the Florida Keys.
Being Grandad or Papa brought him immense joy.
On the night of July 27, 2023, Jerry was welcomed to heaven leaving behind his beloved wife of 50 years,
Cheryl; sons, Tim and Brandon, along with daughter-in-law‘s, Lisa and Lauren; grandchildren, Savannah, Madison, Gabriella, and Liam.
He is also survived by his 10 siblings, Michael, Thomas, Madeline, Cindy, Christopher, Theresa, Cecilia,
Margaret Mary, Veronica, and Pamela.
In honor of Jerry's memory, the family kindly requests donations to Gentiva Hospice or the Alzheimer's
Association, two causes close to our family's heart.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to shine bright in the hearts of those who knew
and loved him.
