Jill Parsons' Obituary
Jill Parsons, 62, of Palm Coast, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 peacefully in her sleep. Jill was born on February 21, 1960 in Hancock, New York to the late Leland (Dutch) and Elda Parsons. Jill graduated from Deposit Central School and continued to experience many adventures throughout her life. She moved from her hometown in Deposit, Ny to Arizona, back to NY for many years. She moved her family to North Carolina then to Florida in 1992. In 2002, she ventured back to NY to care for her Mother, then back to Florida in 2013 where she retired and began caring for her grandchildren, who became her world.
Jill worked hard her whole life - chopping wood, stone quarries, self taught mechanic, factory processing plants such as Valley Offset, Penguin Publishing and Palm Coast Data, all of which were physically demanding, labor intensive jobs. Jill did what she could to make ends meet, one way or another.
She also worked on people, physically and mentally. She had a way about her, giving you what you needed, whether you wanted it or not. But give she did, sharing her heart, soul and honesty with countless individuals. If you knew her, you know….Keep it simple and stick to the basics.
Jill is preceded in death by 7 of her 11 siblings - Betty Aylward, Leland (Bubby) Parsons, Laura (Beanie) Bush, Ernest (Butch) Parsons, Ralph Parsons, Mary Decker, Gary Parsons - her parents Leland (Dutch) and Elda Parsons - the father of her children Harold (Birdman) Miller and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jill is survived by her remaining siblings - Matriarch Margaret Rahl, Elda Parsons, Barbara Decker and Twin Brother, Jack Parsons. Her children, Charles Miller and Rachael Jones; Son in Law, David Jones. Her grandchildren, Lynnsie Jones and David Jones.
Jill did not want services in a traditional, funeral sense. The “Party for a Lifetime” will be held at her home, 60 Pine Circle Dr, Palm Coast, FL. 32164 on Saturday, July 9th beginning at 11:00 am until the party ends. All are welcome and encouraged to attend, sharing your love and stories to honor a woman who leaves a void that no other being can fill.
Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of her arrangements.
