Jo Ann Offnick's Obituary
Jo Ann Offnick, 84, passed away March 2, 2024 in Palm Coast, FL. She was born January 3,1940 in Hancock, New York, daughter of Joseph and Effie DeSerio. She graduated from Hancock Central School, Hancock, NY and St Catherine's, Albany, NY. JoAnn was a nurse for 35 years at Hancock Hospital, Lourdes Hospital, and UHS Windsor. JoAnn and her husband, David relocated from Windsor, NY to Bunnell, FL in 1994. She was a loving, caring, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She never forgot a birthday and family was her greatest love.
She was predeceased by her parents Joe and Effie (Phelps) DeSerio, brother Kenneth (Chipper) and sister in-law Donna DeSerio. In-laws Alexander and Mathilda Offnick, brother in-laws, Alexander and Peter Offnick and sister in-law, Barbara Offnick.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, David, son Joseph and daughter in-law Nathalia Hurtado of Coral Springs, FL, sisters Maureen (Maura) DeSerio of Clarksville, TN and Dolores (Dee Dee) DeSerio of Lordville, NY and sister in-law Molly Offnick. Grandchildren Lindsey Offnick and wife, Brittany Mills, Payton Offnick, Ava Offnick, Nathalia Gonzalez and husband, Gabriel Pol, Claudia A. Gonzalez and husband Carlos Perez De Anda. Three great grandchildren Hayden Offnick, Diego Pol and Rio Perez De Anda and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
Life should always be enjoyed like NeeNee enjoyed it… with a good glass of boxed wine.
Memorial services will be in Hancock, NY at a later date.
