I just learned of Joan's passing. My deepest sympathy to Joan's family. Joan was a wonderful friend and later next-door neighbor to my parents (Bill & Leigh Thompson) while they lived in Palm Coast, FL. My dad and Paul played tennis together. Now they're all together again! Praise God!

Our condolences to the entire Morris family for the loss of their loving and dedicated mother, who was very proud of her family, and always there for all of them. Joan was always ready to help whatever situation we were facing. Her empathy, enthusiasm, and energy was so much a part of what she shared with others.She was everywhere in the church with her caring and support. She was always there for her family. I am not sure how much sleep she got! I know all of you turned out to be such terrific people because of her and your dad. I have the most loving memories of my Aunt Joan. She always had the warmest laughter when I told her stories about my life. She was always interested and probably saying "thank God she's not my child". I'm hoping she is looking in on us all and laughing that wonderful laugh. I remember hoe cool and romantic I thoght it was that she and Uncle Paul went after work most every day for coffee and pie, I'm thinking , to discuss the day! I loved to go to dinner at their house above the store and enjoy all the somewhat organized chaos with all my crazy and wonderful cousins running around. I will miss her as I do my own Mother and wish with all my heart that she is happy and with all our family, that has moved on to a better place. I love you Aunt Joan and I love you all my loving cousins!! Susie
