John J. Decindio's Obituary
John J. Decindio, 66, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on April 16, 2018 at his home in Palm Coast, FL. John was a talented chef at various restaurants and had previously owned his own restaurant - John's Dockside. Cooking was his passion. He was a mentor to many upcoming chefs and also taught culinary skills at a local college. He was loved by his coworkers and team members.
John also enjoy traveling and visited many places in the USA as well as Canada and Europe. He enjoyed cruising to the Caribbean. John loved nature and all animals, especially his dogs and birds.
Born and raised in New Jersey, John is preceded in death by his parents Jeannette and John Decindio Sr.
John was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Renee (Lazzio) and father to his son Johnny. John is also survived by his brother Daniel and his wife Nancy of New Jersey. John was loved by his sister in laws, brother in laws and many nieces and nephews. His family will miss John's love life, laughter, his smile and the kindness he gave to all.
A celebration of his life will be held at his home on Sunday, April 22, 2018. The memorial service will be at 2pm. Per John's wish, a celebration of his life with food and laughter will follow. A Christian memorial service will be held in New Jersey in May.
