John James Hilla's Obituary
John James Hilla, age 58, of Palm Coast Florida passed away unexpectantly of natural causes, in his home on December 4, 2021. John was born in Pittsburgh PA to the late Albert & Nancy Hilla. He is survived by his long-time companion Kaye Dykeman. In addition to his companion John is survived by his brothers & sisters - Georgette (David) Wilkinson, LaVern (Arthur) Basnight, Albert (Sharon) Hilla, Bill (Barbara) Hilla, Darlene Pardiny, Carol (Anthony) Pirrello and the late Nancy Wisner & Denise Hilla. He is additionally survived by 13 nieces & more than a dozen great nieces and nephews.
John was a courier for more than two decades with Triangle Messenger Service in Pittsburgh Pa. After relocating to Palm Coast to be near family he could often be seen on the Pine Lakes Bike path, among several others, on his custom trike. John was a big Pittsburgh sports teams fan, both professional and college.
A private service was held on Tuesday December 7th for immediate family. John was an avid animal lover. Donations can be made in his memory to any local animal shelter.
