John F Murray's Obituary
John Murray, 86, passed away on July 2, 2022, in Palm Coast, Florida. He was born to Jessie and Ruby Murray in Newark NJ in 1935 and was the second of seven children. In 1963, John met his then to be wife, Mary Ann McNamara and together they had three children, John, Michael and Ellen in a marriage that lasted 59 years. John had a very successful career at Public Service Electric and Gas, a large utility company in the Northern New Jersey area and retired from PSE&G in 1994. In retirement, he resided and made many good friends in Orlando Florida, North Port Florida and then Palm Coast Florida. While residing in Palm Coast, he was active in the community in various public organizations and was an active member of the Irish Social Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing golf and traveling the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. He is survived by his Wife, Mary Ann, his sons Michael and John along with his wife Constance Murray, and his daughter Ellen along with 6 grandchildren. John was loved by many and will be greatly missed by many in a life well lived.
