Brother, i still have monkey. This was John’s. At age 7 or so, all he asked for was a monkey for Christmas. Nothing else. But he did not specify a real monkey , so he got a stuffed one. I’ve carried this for 40 years. I gave him to John once and he gave him back for safe keeping.
I love you brother. I wish things had been different. I never stopped loving you.
I am his youngest sister, Jolene. John and I were two peas in a pod as young kids. One of my funniest memories is John making me go into the basement first, because he was afraid of the bogeyman in the dryer. Of course I did it, I would do anything he told me to as a kid. I adored him. I love you brother.
