John "Butch" Robbins' Obituary
John (Butch) Robbins Sr. of Palm Coast, Florida died peacefully at home on June 15, 2018 while surrounded by family. Born on July 5, 1937 in Millville, MA, he served in the US Army during the Korean War. Butch was a retired Teamster and an avid horseshoe pitcher who played in various leagues in Blackstone and Millville, MA. He enjoyed playing cards, bones and billiards with family and friends.
He is survived by his devoted wife Kathryn Herpin-Robbins of Palm Coast, FL; and his four sons, Mark (Christine) of Uxbridge, MA, John Jr. (Patricia) of Ormond Beach, FL, Eric (Michelle) of Palm Coast, FL and George (Angela) of Palm Coast, FL; his loving step-children Tommy McGee, Troy McGee, Tonnya (Bobby) Ledbetter, Tessie Chatfield, and Jacob Herpin; his brothers Neil (Sue) of Millville, MA and Richard Sr. of Woonsocket, RI; his nine grandchildren Stephanie, Katelyn, Craig, Nathaniel, Caroleea, Erin, Connor, Samuel and Noah; step-grandchildren Brooke (Andrew) Miller, Christopher (Chelsea) McGee, Dakota McGee, Jayden Ledbetter, Jerad (Danielle) Price; and six great-grandchildren.
Butch was preceded in death by his loving wife Constance of Blackstone, MA, his sister Joyce Libby of Millville, MA and his brothers George Jr. of Millville, MA and William of Uxbridge, MA.
A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Millville, MA on Saturday July 28, 2018 at 10am. Family and friends are invited to attend.
