John Anthony Wachter's Obituary
John Anthony Wachter Sr., 84, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 1st. Born in Brooklyn, New York, John carried the strength, resilience, and character of his roots with him throughout his life.
He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Judie, and a proud and loving father. John is survived by his five children: Karen (John) Van Amburg, Janet (Robert) Garrett, Gail McConnell, Debbie Wachter, and John Wachter Jr. (Nicol). He also leaves behind his cherished sister, Mary Ann.
John was a proud grandfather to Michael, Joseph, Matthew, Adrianna, Morgan, and John III, and a loving step-grandfather to Christa and Nikki. Each of them brought him immense joy and pride.
He built a career as a real estate agent, where his dedication, strong work ethic, and natural ability to connect with others earned him the respect of both clients and colleagues.
A man of deep and unwavering faith, John’s relationship with God and his commitment to the Church were central to his life. His beliefs guided his actions, shaped his values, and provided strength and comfort not only to him, but to all who knew him. As he often lived out in his daily life, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15
Above all, John will be remembered for his love of family, his steady presence, and the quiet strength of his faith. His legacy is one of devotion, integrity, and enduring love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
