John Williams
John Williams of Port Orange, FL was born on April 11, 1935 in New Rochelle, NY to the late James and Victoria (Chaplin) Williams and passed away on July 26, 2012 at the age of 77 years at the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, Port Orange, FL
He was a graduate of the New Rochelle High School and retired as a Firefighter for the City of New Rochelle, NY. John was an avid golfer, he enjoyed traveling, baseball, and bowling. He was a member of the Elks Club, and was the Past Governor of the Lacey Lodge Moose.
John is survived by his loving wife, Carol Williams. Additional survivors include his son, son, Jack Williams and daughter-in-law Debra, his brother, Jim Williams, his two grandchildren, Jackie and Deanna Williams, and his niece, Tara Erin Williams.
John was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Ellie Williams.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of John Williams to the Halifax Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Cremation and Memorial Chapel, Port Orange, FL.
