John J Yorfino Jr's Obituary
John J. Yorfino Jr. 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife, son and daughter on April 30, 2021 in Palm Coast, Florida.
John was born and raised in Stamford, CT after graduating high school he joined the United States Marine Corps and served his country proudly in Vietnam. After an honorable discharge he started his career in carpentry.
His passion for carpentry grew over the years and he enjoyed building homes and beautiful pieces of furniture, these pieces will be treasured always. He enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to walk on the beach collecting shells, fishing, hunting and all things related to animals and nature. He especially loved elephants most of all and passed down the love of animals to his children and grandchildren. John also enjoyed golf and watching his favorite sports teams The New York Giants and Mets with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, John J. Yorfino Sr. and his mother Philomena T. Yorfino
John is survived by his beloved wife Cathy Yorfino, his two children Meagan Marie and John J. Yorfino III, his daughter in law Stacy Yorfino, his sister Sharon Cappiello and family. His three grandsons John J. Yorfino IV (L J), Gavin Scott Yorfino and Kai Kayden.
John had an amazing heart and was loved by all. He loved his family and will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
