She was born to Irvin “Red” and Ida Mae Bilger in Marion, Ohio on December 11, 1941. She grew up in Sylvania, Ohio and graduated from Burnham High School. She went on to get her nursing degree from St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in Toledo, Ohio. Judy married her childhood sweetheart Richard Friess in 1963 and had a daughter Dawn a year later.
She had a lifelong career in nursing always continuing her education and growing in her chosen profession with great success. Her hobbies included reading, quilting, sewing, gardening and playing euchre. She took great joy creating special and unique gifts for friends and family.
Her favorite times were those spent with loved ones, friends and family. Judy has spent a lifetime making lasting relationships and she will be missed dearly.
