Juliet Patao Prado's Obituary
Juliet Patao Prado, age 76, caring mother of Mark and Mary Jane, and beloved wife to husband Melecio Prado passed on Sunday evening, the 23rd of January after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Juliet was born in Manila, Philippines. She had a brother Rizalino who predeceased her. Juliet graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila with a Bachelor of Science.
After a successful career as a medical Technologist she recently retired from Advent Hospital in 2020. Juliet was happily married to her life partner Melecio for 54 years.
As a mother she was caring, generous and kind. Juliet was very soft spoken, but was able to gently guide her friends and family. She was thrilled to become an adoring grandmother to Joshua.
In her free time Juliet enjoyed spending time with her family, playing mahjong, walking on the beach with her husband, Melecio, and was an avid boxing fan.
Juliet was a devout Catholic, a wonderful and beautiful woman, and she will be greatly missed by all. A funeral service will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on Monday, January 31, 2022. The public viewing will be from 9:00am - 10:45am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00am.
