Kaia Carlotta Kubrycht's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our precious Kaia Carlotta Kubrycht, age 6, who departed this world on October 19, 2024, at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Born on September 16, 2018, in St. Augustine, Kaia filled our lives with immeasurable joy and love during her brief but beautiful time with us.
Kaia was a true individual, full of sass and sweetness. She had a remarkable talent for making people smile, and her laughter was simply infectious. Whether she was singing and dancing in her favorite high heels—her “keeps”—or putting on makeup to showcase her creativity, Kaia embraced life with a sparkle that lit up every room.
Her love for the ocean and swimming reflected her adventurous spirit, while her passion for science and conducting experiments showed her curiosity about the world. Kaia often worked on cars with her beloved Papa, showcasing her brave and courageous heart. Dreaming of becoming a painter and working at a “Vegetarian” with “Aminals" like her mama, She reminded us all to chase our dreams with passion and joy.
Kaia is survived by her devoted father, Karl John Kubrycht, and her loving mother, Jaquelyn Beth Zelasko. She also leaves behind her cherished maternal grandmother, Delma Zelasko; her paternal grandparents, Carl John and Leticia Kubrycht; and her great-grandparents, Carlotta and Franco Giangualano. Kaia was surrounded by the love of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom will carry her spirit in their hearts forever.
We invite all who knew and loved Kaia to join us for a visitation on October 31, 2024, from 2-4 PM at Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service. In honor of her vibrant personality, please come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume as we celebrate her joyous spirit.
A Funeral Mass will be held on November 1, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service. Together, let us share our cherished memories and stories of Kaia, a little girl too perfect for this world. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service to assist with the funeral expenses.
