Kathaleen Gay Russell's Obituary
Kathaleen “Kathy” Gay Russell, 73, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Coquina Center in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Born on April 18, 1952, in Alexandria, Virginia, Kathy lived a life devoted to her family and those she loved. She will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, and the warmth she shared with everyone around her.
Kathy was a devoted mother to Tammy, Martin, the late Samantha (2020), and Jessica. She was the proud grandmother of Jennifer, Shelby, Dylan, Bobby, Alison, Abigail, Kayden, and Konner, and the loving great-grandmother Ellie, Lilly, Zoey, Chloe, Malakai, and Kirryn. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nanette and Martin Jacoby; her brothers, Robert and Barry Beavers; her daughter, Samantha; and her beloved husband, Timothy Russell. She is survived by her brothers, Bruce Beavers and Steven Jacoby, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
She made her home in Palm Coast, where she enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and the company of her loved ones. Kathy’s compassion, sense of humor, and generous heart will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Russell Landing in Bunnell, Florida, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Kathy’s honor.
Kathy’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
