Kathleen Ann Gay's Obituary
Kathleen Ann Gay, 77, was born on November 2, 1947 to Charles and Irmalee Small in Cocoa Beach, FL. The family moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1950. There are wonderful memories of the years spent there with her parents and siblings, Donna and Stephen. She graduated at Nathan B. Forest High School in 1965.
Kathleen married Mark Gay in 1974 and resided in Jacksonville before moving to St. Augustine, FL in the late 90's. They were married 44 years.
She loved the Lord with all her heart, and His provision for her was evident throughout her life. She had a deep love for her family and friends. She had a gift for making others feel seen, heard, and valued whether she knew them well or not. She was always ready to share a kind word, lift someone up in prayer, and lend a helping hand.
Kathleen passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark; and her parents, Charles and Irmalee. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Margaret, and husband Chris; granddaughters Tiffany and Samantha; her sister, Donna, her husband John, and her son, Jason; her brother, Stephen, and sister-in-law, Linda, and their children, Cedric, Mallory, and Rory;
She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will continue to inspire all who were touched by her life.

Service: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park, concluding the service. Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family.
