Keith Allan King's Obituary
Keith Allan King, age 64, of Palm Coast, went to his heavenly home to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 after a courageous year long battle with lung cancer.  Keith will be joining his mother, Catherine King, and his first born daughter, Gretchen Lynn King, and many other relatives and friends in a happy reunion where he will experience no more pain, no more sorrow, and no more stress.
Keith married Alicia Gail Hughes Powell on August 31, 1970 in Miami, FL.  Their son Christopher was born on March 23, 1972.  They have been residents of Palm Coast since 1977. From 1977-2014, Keith was employed by the City of Palm Coast Utility.  In 2015, Keith rededicated his life to our Savior Jesus Christ and became a member of Parkview Baptist Church in 2016. Keith enjoyed rebuilding car motors, offshore fishing, bowling, hunting, NASCAR, daily bible reading, and overseeing the care of his oldest brother Harvey.  Most recently, he cherished the time he had with his two young grandsons.
Keith is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 46 years, Alicia, his son, Christopher (Christina), 2 grandchildren, Christian & Camrin, his father, Emory B. King, and many other beloved family members.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Parkview Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Peters officiating. A committal service with military honors will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to donate to the charity of your choice.  They would also like to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Stuart Meyer Hospice House for their loving care and support in Keith's final days.
