Keith B. Petersen's Obituary
Keith B. Petersen, age 80, passed away at his home in Port Orange, Florida, on February 11, 2017. Keith was born in New Haven, Connecticut, to the late Harold and Marian (Walmsley) Petersen. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force. Keith was a television engineer for WTOL and WSPD, Toledo, and WJBK and WKBD, Detroit. He went on to work with SimtelNet as a software archive manager, and finally created his own IT consulting firm, Petersen Data Management. Keith was widely respected in the IT consulting industry.
Keith’s beloved wife, Carolyn Petersen, preceded him in death. Keith was the loving father of James Petersen, Gretchen (Dave) Linenger, Jeanette (Philippe) Cloostermans and Kurt (Joy) Petersen, and uncle of Edward (Tracy) Brown III, Megan (Randy) Gomer and Shannon (Jose) Gutierrez Brown. He was the dear brother of Karen Petersen. He was the stepfather of Kelly (Mike) Flint and Paul Tarkowski. Keith was the proud grandfather of Kevin, Megan, Benjamin, Naomi, Lewis, Russell and Patrick.
