Kendall Morgan's Obituary
Kendall P. Morgan, 72, was born June 9, 1952, in Elmhurst, Illinois to the late H. Pierce Morgan and Vivian Erickson. He passed away on August 5, 2024, at his home in Ormond Beach, Florida, surrounded by his family.
Ken grew up in Villa Park, Illinois, and graduated from Willowbrook High School in 1970. He later attended Southern Illinois University and in 1979 became a CPA. The majority of his career was with John Hancock, from where he retired in 2002. He did not know if he wanted to be the smartest guy in the room or the life of the party, so he often chose both. Ken enjoyed riding in his convertible with classic rock music blasting, watching his children’s sporting activities, coaching his son’s baseball teams and playing golf. He made friends wherever he went and was always sensitive to be sure that everyone was included in whatever the game was.
Ken is survived by his wife, Karla (Mansfield) Morgan, his children Melissa (Doug) Jost, and Kendall/KP (Breanna) Morgan, his grandsons Bentley and Blake Jost, his siblings Diane (Richard) Meisenheimer, Denise Goering, and James (Tamie) Morgan. He was also uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Ken’s memory to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
We thank Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service for their assistance.
