Geesh… life is a flash-
I met Kevin at a roller skating rink in Bedford, New Hampshire around 1974
I was smitten by that smile and outgoing personality… he was funny and had a charm about him.
He began dating my sister, and before you knew it, he was part of the family.
He and my sister blessed us with my first niece! Then a Nephew, another neice and nephew. I was in Auntie heaven!
Times were hard back then, we all had our struggles. They parted ways…
As life happened, I’d see Kevin every now and then through the kids, always witty, straightforward, he’d always have a fishing, or hunting stories to tell….
Time passes in such a flash. We don’t realize it until those we know move on. One thing about Kevin is he left a legacy of beautiful children, smart witty, caring-hearts as big as gold, each unique and special in their own way. I don’t care how you slice it, part of that is from him.
Despite the rough times, his children were and are his light.
Thank you, my friend for passing through this world and gifting us with such beautiful souls.

Kevin, was my best friend, and my favorite person. He was my dad and an amazing dad at that. You taught me to stand on my own two feet and not to care about what others thought of me. You never judged me, and loved me unconditionally for me, as I did for you. I miss our Skype calls, and our Scooby-Doo marathons. You used to take me fishing every weekend when we lived in Colorado. My favorite memory of you is when I would close the door on you and you would stick your fingers under the door and say “crabby let me in”. You were the best dad, and I will forever love and miss you.

My first memory is of Mom and Dad bringing you home from the hospital. You were definitely the typical little brother—always annoying me and trying to get me into trouble.

I hope you knew how loved you were.

From habitual offender of never waiting for the school bus, never letting me shut off the movie even when your eyes were shut and you were snoring, dancing with me in the living room and heckling me every moment you had the opportunity to. You’d come in with the wind when you’d visit and you’d leave just as fast but your presence always came with laughter and a little annoyance, but your absence always left a void that couldn’t be filled until you showed up again. Who is going to harass me on Facebook now? You not being here hits hard, but I’ll cherish the memories. I’ll always tell the stories with a smile on my face and miss you a little more. I love you, Unc.

Uncle Kevin taught me a lot growing up. As a young man he taught me how to metal frame & some basic mechanics when he took me in to help me get my license back.
He had a way about him that despite it all we love him dearly.
Funny, always joking, never ending stories and never a dull moment.

My father my friend my fishing partner my teacher, my memories go back to learning how to turn wrenches, eat worms and use them for bait. Hunting trapping walking on land most could only dream of. Endless conversations and lessons. I was taught how to skin animals filet fish and survive. Lessons memories that made me who i am. I will miss being able to ask you how to plumb build or do whatever i can't. You always answered the calls and questions.

I have many fond memories of my big brother Kevin. He introduced me to The Three Stooges, Godzilla, and Creature Double Feature. I will miss your phone calls letting me know my favorite movie is on, or asking (over and over again) for Mom's potato salad recipe. Those are the memories I will hold close.

It was with great sadness when we received the call Kevin had passed.
My brother in law Kevin was a true pleasure to be around. He always had a story to tell about his latest adventures and consistently made people smile with his great sense of humor. Loved by all that knew him, he’ll be missed forever.
