Kolter Henry Shamp's Obituary
With broken hearts, we share that our beloved Kolter Henry Shamp gained his angel wings on September 17, 2025, surrounded by love.
Born on June 21, 2023 in Daytona Beach, FL, Kolter was a true fighter from the very beginning. Though his time here was far too short, he touched countless lives with his strength, resilience, and radiant spirit. He faced each challenge with courage and showed everyone what it meant to be mighty, even in the smallest body.
Kolter’s days were filled with the love of his family—his proud parents Abby and Keaton, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many others who cherished every moment with him. His story brought hope, faith, and inspiration to all who followed his journey, reminding us daily of the power of love.
He will be forever remembered for his beautiful eyes, his sweet presence, and the way he made the world brighter simply by being in it. Though our hearts ache, we know Kolter’s light will continue to shine in every life he touched.
Kolter is survived by his parents Abagail Cody and Keaton Shamp, his grandparents William (Bill) Shamp, Sara and Dowlin Cody, his great-grandparents Joann and Joseph Gardner, Dan and Pat Cody, Danny and Stacey Jenkins, and John L. Shamp, Great-great grandma Gail O’kelley. He was welcomed into Heaven by Grandma Kim Shamp, Nanny, and many other relatives.
A celebration of Kolter’s life will be held on Saturday, September 27 at 2 PM at The Florida Agricultural Museum, 7900 Old Kings Rd N, Palm Coast FL 32137. Family and friends are invited to attend as we honor and remember our precious boy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kolter’s memory to a brand new beginning for us, The Fight Like Kolter Foundation.
