Kristina M. Korte's Obituary
Kristina “Kristy” Mary Atwood Korte, 56, of Flagler Beach, FL, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Kristy was born July 9, 1968 in Gloucester, MA. Kristy attended St Charles Borromeo School and Edgewater High School. Kristy obtained her LPN license and cared for many people through her 16 years in the field. Kristy married Mark Korte on July 22, 1991.
Remaining to cherish Kristy’s memory are her husband, Mark; children, Christopher Atwood, Brandon (Cayla) Atwood and Keegan Michael; granddaughters, Isla and Jaina Atwood; parents, Ron and Mary Atwood; brothers, Steve (Sandi), Mike (Denise), and Gerard (Lori); nieces and nephews, Cassie (Ruben) Suarez, Trey Atwood, Janie Atwood, Emily (Billy) Akos; great-nieces Everly Suarez and Blair Akos; and numerous family and friends.
Kristy loved to spend time in her ‘she-shed’ creating wind chimes using seashells as well as many other crafting projects. Kristy was a true giver and those who received her love and friendship are much better for it.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 23 at Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service. (4601 E. Moody Blvd G-7, Bunnell, FL) in the Marvin's Garden Plaza.
