Lanny Zintel, 90, of Palm Coast, FL, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025. Born in Waymart, PA, Lanny also lived in Kearny, NJ, Upper Saddle River, NJ, and Clinton Corners, NY. He lived in Florida for the past 30 years.
Lanny spent his career as a skilled finish carpenter and commercial contractor following his service in the army. His passions included breeding racehorses, boating, fishing, gardening, and antique cars. Lanny enjoyed the outdoors and loved building beautiful things with his hands.
Lanny is predeceased by his parents, Wesley and Helen Zintel, his brothers, Melvin and Larry, and his sister, Doreen. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Zintel, his sister, Violet Todd of Budd Lake, NJ, his first wife, Betty Zintel, of Mahwah, NJ, and his children: Lana Roeser of Mahwah, NJ, and Scott Zintel and his wife Kathryn of Warwick, NY. He is also survived by five adoring grandchildren: Wesley (Sierra), Julie (Alex), Russell (Kaitlyn), Nicholas, and Paul, and three great grandchildren: Charlotte, Madeline, and Alexander. Lanny will be missed dearly.
