Larry Abernathy, 73, of Palm Coast passed away on February 9, 2020 at his home in Palm Coast. He was born in Birta, Arkansas on December 12, 1946 to the late Oscar Abernathy and Patsy Okler . Larry was past commander of the VFW post 2408, American Legion post 282 and Amvets post 269.He was Chef De Gar of the 40/8 and involved with the Moose and Eagles. Larry was a combat veteran in Vietnam and dedicated his life to Veteran causes. Survivors include his wife, Pamela of Palm Coast; his sons, Joe (Sheri),Mike (Jason),Todd (Joanna),Chris (Emily),Tommy (Christie) and daughter's Kelly (Russell) and Trista (Joby) .Many grand children,great grand children, Nieces and Nephews.
