Larry Thorn Smith, of Palm Coast, FL was born on July 17, 1946 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Forest Thorn and Loretha Smith nee McCartney. He passed away on January 9, 2013 at Florida Hospital Flagler, Palm Coast, FL at the age of 66 years.
He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School, and a Veteran of the United States Army. Larry was stationed in Korea, and he worked in Military Intelligence. He was a Machinist, and he loved knives, dragons, wizards, gothic, and mid-evil items.
Larry is survived by his wife, Susanne Smith of Ocala, FL. Two sons, Larry S. Smith and wife Chantel of Ocala, FL, and Michael James Smith and wife Kayice M. Colman of Palm Coast, FL. Three sisters, Jean Short of Parkersburg, WV, Pearl Wright of Boaz, WV, and Rosemary Williams of Vienna, WV. Seven grandchildren, Zaqoria Colman, Michelle Frame, Savannah Smith, Issac Smith, Jacob Smith, Kelly Smith, and Sierra Smith, and one great grandchild, Audrennya Frame.
